HOTEL NIKKO SAN FRANCISCO SET TO RELAUNCH FOLLOWING $60 MILLION RENOVATION
Posted March 14, 2017
Hotel to re-open March 20, 2017 in celebration of 30-year anniversary and in time for the city’s 50th anniversary of the Summer of Love

Hotel Nikko San Francisco, located steps from Union Square in the heart of the city, is commemorating its 30th anniversary this year with a US$60 million design overhaul, which is currently underway with a grand re-opening planned for Monday, March 20. Following the three-month renovation, the hotel will reveal an invigorated, sophisticated interior design that will elevate the entire guest experience, encompassing 405 of 533 guestrooms and suites, structural upgrades to the lobby, public areas, third floor ballroom and meeting spaces, as well as large-scale improvements to the hotel’s overall infrastructure and technology.

As a familiar part of the skyline, Hotel Nikko San Francisco will re-emerge as the city’s “newest” destination in time for the 50th anniversary of the Summer of Love – the city’s biggest ever cultural movement – making it the ideal accommodation choice for luxury travellers that want to be in close proximity to all of the festivities taking place throughout the year.
