The Coeur d’Alene Resort announces a multimillion dollar renovation of the resort property, guest rooms and suites, restaurants and lobby area. As a continuation of upgrades made to the property in the past year and the construction of the new Hagadone Event Center on the shore of Lake Coeur d’Alene, the renovation will give the Coeur d’Alene Resort an entirely new look and guests a more comfortable experience.

The first phase of the three phase renovation project was completed in 2011 and included the introduction of the 11,000-square-foot Hagadone Event Center with more than 200 feet of sliding glass walls and banquet space for 300. Adjacent to the Event Center is a new garden area overlooking the lake surrounded by privacy berms. The garden features a floating bridge in the center of a reflecting pool with an infinity edge for wedding and other parties of up to 500 people. The Event Center and garden are complemented by a new 25-by-70-foot pool with a full-length infinity edge, sunning deck, cabanas and other amenities. Splash nightclub and Titos Wine Shop also opened in phase one.

Current renovation projects include the design of a 4,400-square-foot deck on the second floor, a new outdoor dining venue with capacity of 200-300, increased accessibility for guests with a new elevator, a complete renovation of the North Wing Rooms on the property, and a full makeover of Dockside restaurant and Whispers Lounge with new interior and menus. Whispers will also feature a new outdoor seating area. The Fitness Center will triple in size and include new state of the art fitness equipment. The resort lobby is also undergoing a massive redesign which will include a new built-in 32-by5-foot aquarium with Koi fish to welcome guests at check-in. Renovations will be completed by March 1, 2012, and special packages are available for guests enjoying the property during the renovation period.
