Jackson, WY – Today, the 2015 Forbes Travel Guide Star Rating list was unveiled, and for the second year, The Wort Hotel is the recipient of the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star Award.
The Wort Hotel continues to score high in the luxury travel ratings that have been the gold standard in the hospitality industry since 1958. “Our Star Ratings recognize the finest hotels, restaurants and spas in the world and serve as the most authoritative guideposts for guests seeking exceptional travel experiences,” said Gerard J. The Wort Hotel has received two very prestigious awards in the last few months; "Best Small Historic Hotel in America" from the Historic Hotels of America National Program and the 2014 Forbes Travel Guide Four Star Award.
Forbes Travel Guide recently announced its Global Star Ratings of the world's finest hotels, restaurants and spas. Only properties that meet their hospitality standards - the most stringent in the industry - achieve a Five Star, Four Star or recommended rating. Professional inspectors anonymously visit each property, evaluating more than 500 criteria to determine a Star Rating that takes the guess work out of travel planning and establishes a global benchmark for luxury travel.
Historic Hotels of America was founded in 1989 as a program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and identifies quality hotels that have faithfully maintained their historic integrity, architecture and ambiance.
